During the Ubisoft E3 2019 press conference, developer Massive Entertainment revealed their DLC plans for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. The Division 2 DLC will include three free episodes throughout the year and into 2020. Year 1 pass holders will receive the DLC a week before launch.

Episode 1 D.C. Outskirts (July 2019) lets players explore beyond the city of Washington D.C., including the Washington National Zoo. Episode 1 also adds a new Expedition mode, adding co-op challenges each week set in Trinity College.

Episode 2 Pentagaon: The Last Castle (Fall 2019) adds three new story missions within the Department of Defense headquarters. It will also add The Division 2’s second 8-player raid, Operation Dark Hours, where players travel to a foundry to take on the True Sons.

Episode 3 Coney Island: Homecoming (Spring 2020) brings it all back to the setting of the first The Division, New York City. Specifically, Coney Island, where someone is trying to spread a new virus to wipe out the rest of humanity.

To get more people interested in The Division 2, Ubisoft is hosting a free weekend this weekend, June 13-16 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Players will be able to keep their progress should they choose to purchase the game afterward.
