At E3 2019 Ubisoft announced a new Story Creator Mode for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Story Creator allows players to create their own quests using a new web-based tool, then upload and share them with the community.

Players can choose from six different quest types, such as assassination or vising a specific location. From there different branches and paths can be created, giving players choices and consequences. NPCs can be used from all across the game to populate quests or used as enemies. Created quests can be shared and played on any platform, regardless of which platform the creator used.

The Story Creator Mode is available now in open beta.

Also coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the Discovery Tour Mode. As in Origins, Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece is a non-hostile tour of the world, allowing players to walk around and learn about the real historical setting. The Discovery Tour will feature 300 audio stations where players can take guided tours to learn about ancient life, culture, and architecture. It will also feature quizzes at the end of each tour, making it a fun educational tool.

Discovery Tour Mode will launch this fall as a free update to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
