Maybe there’s only so much you can show when it comes to a fantasy version of Tetris. Indie developer Pixelakes opted for something a little different for their launch date trailer of Treasure Stack, producing a live action video showcasing their “locally sourced pixels.” It’s a delightfully corny trailer featuring the dev team.

Treasure Stack is a Tetris like falling block puzzle game that injects a bit of platforming as players have to move around and properly stack the falling treasure chests. Over 100 heroes and customization options will be available to unlock.

The puzzle game offers both single player challenges as well as local and online multiplayer for up to four players. Multiplayer supports cross-platform play across all three platforms – PC, Xbox, and Switch. A Ranked online mode will feature 30-day ranked seasons, and each season will include its own rewards to earn.

Pre-orders are available now and include a 10% discount for consoles. The Steam version will feature a 10% discount on launch.

Pixelakes was founded in 2017 in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Treasure Stack is their debut game.

Treasure Stack is launching March 1 on PC (Steam), Switch, and Xbox One, as well as 4K support for the Xbox One X. It’s rated E for Everyone.
