Long-awaited sequel Mega Man 11 has launched this week on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. It’s available in physical and digital editions for all the consoles, but digital-only for PC. Watch the new launch trailer above.

A physical collector’s edition is available for Switch. It includes a new Mega Man amiibo, as well as an adhesive patch, sticker pack, and microfiber cloth.

Like previous games in the venerable series, Mega Man 11 stars the titular blue bomber in a side-scrolling adventure. Fight through eight different levels in any order, culminating in a big showdown with a robot master.

Defeating one of the boss robots rewards Mega Man with their unique powers that he can switch between in future levels. In addition, Mega Man 11 introduces the Double Gear system, giving our heroes even more abilities, including slowing down time or powering up shots.

Since the Mega Man series was notoriously difficult, Mega Man 11 introduces several difficulty options to make death a bit more forgiving. An on-screen weapon wheel has also been added to make switching between robot master weapons much more intuitive.

In addition to the main story mode, Mega Man 11 will feature several challenge modes, including Time Attack and Score Attack. These challenge modes also have online leaderboards that automatically upload your relevant stats.

Mega Man 11 is rated E10+. It’s available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.
