Ghost Corp (a Ghostbusters-specific subsidary of Sony Pictures) and mobile publisher FourThirtyThree unveiled a lengthy new gameplay trailer for upcoming mobile AR game Ghostbusters World. It’s narrated by Kinda Funny Games’ Greg Miller as he introduces pre-release gameplay of battling and capturing ghosts, as well as some of the game’s other modes.

Ghostbusters World is due to arrive later this year on iOS and Android.

Like Pokémon GO and Jurassic World Alive, Ghostbusters World tasks players with finding ghosts out in the real world using AR mapping technology. Battling ghosts promises skill-based gameplay as you fire your proton pack and capture them in the trap. At launch the game will feature hundreds of ghosts from the Ghostbusters films, TV shows, comic books, and video games.

Also like other AR games, you collect the ghosts and use them in battle. In the Ghost Dimension you can take on daily challenges and the never-ending battles of Gozer’s Tower. There are also asynchronous PvP battles with other players. And unlike Pokémon GO, trading ghosts will be available right from launch.

Ghostbusters World also features a full single player Story Mode, written by the creative team behind the Ghostbusters comic series. Battle other ghosts with familiar characters and level up your team to take on stronger threats.

The game is currently rolling out as a soft launch in select countries on Android. It’s not yet available in the US but should be launching later this year. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB, but should fall close to an E10+ rating.
