The Pokémon Company announced the newest big screen Pokémon film to hit the US. It’s called Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us. It will arrive in theaters (limited run) through Fathom Events on November 24, 26, 28, and December 1.

Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us follows series stars Ash and Pikachu as they journey to a small seaside town comprised of all new characters. The townsfolk celebrate Lugia, the Legendary Pokémon, with an annual celebration, including a Pokémon Catching Race. But when the festival and the village are threatened by a series of incidents, it’s up to Ash and the gang to save the day.

“Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us gives fans and families an opportunity to come together in witnessing new plotlines, characters, and settings unfold in the Pokémon world,” said J.C. Smith, senior director at The Pokémon Company International. “We can’t wait to bring the magic of Pokémon to life on the big screen again with Fathom Events’ expertise in event cinema.”

As a limited run through Fathom, the film will be shown in select markets and theaters on the listed dates (Nov 24, 26, 28, Dec 1). Tickets will be available beginning September 27. Click here to purchase tickets and to look up which theaters it will be shown at.

The film debuted as Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story in Japan earlier this month. It’s the 21st Pokémon film in the incredibly prolific franchise.
