Parenting Hero is a new mobile app launching today that aims to provide parenting advice in the form of role-playing hypothetical scenarios. It’s based on the best-selling book, How to Talk So Little Kids Will Listen by Joana Faber and Julie King. The app is available on Android and iOS for a special launch price of $2.99 (normal price: $4.99).

Parenting Hero features animated hand-drawn graphics of multiple choices to various issues and challenges that parents of young kids (age 2-7) frequently face. The goal is to choose the correct response to each situation, and learn why. As in the book, it’s designed to teach parents to have meaningful discussions of respect and understanding with their kids.

The app is developed by Polish games developer MythicOwl. “I have been using Joanna Faber’s and Julie King’s book to raise my three children, so launching Parenting Hero to make their advice easily accessible to many other parents out there, and thus helping to improve their lives and family dynamics, is an absolute honor,” said Tomasz Mularczyk, CEO at MythicOwl. “Over the upcoming year we will add even more scenarios to the app and have launched a week-long sale on both the App Store and Google Play so that everyone can get their hands on these critically acclaimed family conversation hacks.”

Parenting Hero is now available on the Google Play and App Store. The discounted launch price will last for one week.
