The second full DLC pack for Planet Coaster was released this week. The Adventure Pack contains a host of jungle and adventure-themed content, including new rides, scenery, and music. It’s available for $10.99 on Steam.

The Planet Coaster Adventure Pack DLC adds three new rides:

  • Gold Fever – a mine cart coaster that can go deep underground.
  • Island Adventure – a high-capacity boat ride, designed for large bodies of water.
  • Land Ahoy – Island Adventure’s little sister, with its own water channel.

The Adventure Pack includes lots of new scenery and building pieces, including lots of jungle animals and Indiana Jones-style traps. New building pieces let you construct pyramids and temples using Planet Coasters piece-by-piece construction tools.

A new entertainer staff member has been added, Renee Feu, famed adventurer. The Adventure Pack also adds 27 ambient tracks, six full music tracks, and 33 triggerable sound effects – including a tour guide for the new boat rides.

The Adventure Pack is the second DLC to hit Planet Coaster. The first, the Spooky Pack, launched in September and included Horror-themed content.

Planet Coaster originally launched last year, and was well-received by critics and fans of the theme park sim genre (read our review). Since launch Frontier Developments have steadily patched and updated the game through major seasonal updates, including new rides and an entire in-game security system.

Planet Coaster is available on PC (Steam) and rated E for Everyone.
