Telltale Games have released a new comparison trailer for their upcoming compilation, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection. In addition to bundling all three seasons and two mini-seasons (19 total episodes) of their critically acclaimed Walking Dead episodic series, all of the last-gen games are getting a visual facelift. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection is out in retail and digital stores December 5 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has an MSRP of $49.99.

“Clementine has meant so much to fans since the series premiered in 2012,” said Melissa Hutchison, voice actress of series protagonist Clementine. “It’s incredible to see this series collection arriving all in one place for players to relive the journey or catch up on her tragic tale of survival before we head into the final chapters of her storyline next year.”

The first two seasons and mini-seasons were all designed with last-gen hardware in mind. Telltale has provided a detailed explanation of all the visual enhancements. These include higher resolution models and texture mapping. Shading has been improved from DX9 to DX11, and modern lighting enhancements like ambient occlusion have been added. Season three’s improved UI has been retroactively added to all the previous games as well.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection arrives December 5 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The fourth and final season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is due out next year on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The series is rated M for Mature.
