A special physical version of Stardew Valley is now available at retail stores. Publisher Chucklefish worked with 505 Games and one-man developer ConcernedApe to create the Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition is only available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition includes a few nice goodies:

  • A copy of Stardew Valley
  • Collector’s Edition Soundtrack, featuring 33 hand-picked tracks
  • Exclusive fold-out map of Stardew Valley
  • Mini-Guidebook based on the Full Guidebook (sold separately)

Both the map and the Guidebook are illustrated by Kari Fry.

Stardew Valley was my personal Game of the Year last year. The indie farming sim captured every lovable aspect of the genre, including socializing, growing crops, making money, and exploring dungeons. The writing, music, and pixel art were pitch-perfect.

Since its release one year ago, Stardew Valley has received a few notable updates, including a choice of farm layouts.

Stardew Valley Collector's Edition big

Stardew Valley originally launched on PC, then expanded to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One late last year. Stardew Valley is also coming to Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will be the first console version to get the upcoming multiplayer update (PC will still receive it first). Stardew Valley should arrive on Nintendo Switch sometime this Summer.

The Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition is available now  in North America for $29.99. It’s also coming to UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Netherlands, and Scandinavia on April 13.
