The Pokémon GO Plus was officially released today. However, many would-be buyers are having a hard time finding where exactly they can get one. Polygon did some legwork and found that the GO Plus was either sold out or not available at all at many locations.
The Pokémon GO Plus is a wearable device designed to work with the uber popular Pokémon GO mobile game. It was originally supposed to be released shortly after the game launched, but got pushed back until technical issues with the game could be sorted out.
Some enterprising people have been taking advantage of the shortage and are selling the devices for upwards of $100 on sites like eBay and third party sellers who work with Amazon. According to Polygon, even Nintendo themselves haven’t been very helpful. Your best bet at this point is simply to call up your local game or technology store and see if they happen to have one in stock.
