Amazon is hosting their second ever annual sale for Amazon Prime members, called Prime Day. If you have any cash left over from the flurry of video game sales this Summer, this is the one to splurge on. Last year’s first ever Prime Day was the single biggest sales day in Amazon history, exceeding Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

While previous sales were all digital games, Prime Day includes console bundles and gaming accessories such as controllers, keyboards, and headphones.

prime dayOne of the best Prime Day deals are for three different Xbox One bundles.

  • 1 TB Xbox One with digital versions of The Division and Forza Horizon 2. Physical disc of Rainbow Six Siege. Comes with a second controller and a $50 Amazon gift card. $299
  • 500 GB Xbox One with digital versions of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Forza Horizon 2. Physical disc of Fallout 4. Comes with a second controller and a $50 Amazon gift card. $279
  • 500 GB Xbox One with digital versions of Forza Horizon 2 and Your Choice of Forza Motorsport 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay. Physical disc of Halo 5 Limited Edition. Comes with a second controller and a $50 Amazon gift card. $279

Most of the video game deals aren’t better than previous Summer sales by Microsoft, Sony, and Steam – unless you’re a stickler for physical game discs. You can grab some recent big hitters like DOOM, Just Cause 3, and Far Cry Primal for 50% off. PC gamers can find numerous deals on gaming mice and keyboards.

Note that Amazon Prime Day deals are staggered throughout the day. They have limited quantities and Lightning Deals are available for only a few hours.
