Sago Sago, the creators of the popular Sago Mini series are getting ready to release their next app, Sago Mini Trucks and Diggers on February 4. Besides building on kids’ love of all things construction-related, the new app will also introduce a brand new animal to join the regular cast of characters.  Rosie the Hamster will lead the other animals as they construct a variety of buildings, including a barn and castle, as well as some quirky abodes like a cupcake house (I’m sure this one will be my daughter’s favorite.)

Sago Mini Trucks and Diggers allows kids to play with bulldozers, cranes, and dump trucks, loading them up and seeing them off to the construction site where their buildings come to life. Kids can then customize their homes with a slew of decorations like lights, windows, flowers and more. The app combines some elements we’ve seen in other Sago Mini apps along with some new play. Driving the dump truck looks to be a bit like driving other vehicles in Sago Mini Boats and Sago Mini Road Trip. The free-form decorations are a little like the way you can customize your creation in Sago Mini Monsters.

“Long before I got my driver’s license, I mastered the excavator at my local playground. I spent hours with that toy, feeling empowered by the idea of its strength,” said Nik Aggarwal, developer, Sago Sago in an official release. “Kids everywhere are in awe of big trucks and diggers. They are larger than life, and that’s perfect for imagination.”

Like all of the other Sago Mini Apps, Sago Mini Trucks and Diggers will contain no in-app purchases or third-party advertising. The app is set for release on February 4 and will cost $2.99. We’ll take a closer look at the app in an upcoming episode of Ana’s Apps.
