Elder Scrolls Online is free for Xbox Live Gold members this weekend, thanks to Xbox’s Free Plays program.

The free window starts at 9 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, December 10 and goes until midnight on Sunday. The game recently ditched the monthly subscription model and will be on sale all week following the free weekend.

Oh, and Bethesda is also giving away a million dollars to one participant? That’s cool too.

Eligible participants will have played The Elder Scrolls Online between December 3, 2015 and January 10, 2016. You’ll also have to register at the link above.

The game will be accessible from the Gold Member part of your Xbox One dash, or by downloading the game from the Xbox store.

Elder Scrolls Online is in an era several centuries before Skyrim, The game is the franchise’s first foray into the MMO arena. The game’s mechanics and character building have been streamlined to better fit into the multiplayer mode, but the gameplay is largely the same as Skyrim.

She lives in Seattle, where she writes, studies, plays video games, spends time with her family, consumes vast quantities of science fiction, and looks after her small cockapoo.
