Yo-Kai Watch is coming to North America in November after becoming a huge success in Japan, and today Nintendo announced that it will also be bundled with the Nintendo 2DS for $99.
Yo-Kai Watch was released in Japan back in 2013, and has sold over 8 million copies there. The game is a lot like Pokemon in that you collect creatures and raise them, and is popular especially among younger players. And like Pokemon, it’s also an anime, adding something to the fandom value. (The show is currently airing on Disney XD in North America.)
There will also be a mobile app and physical toys to go with the brand, some of which will supplement the game, and some that will be stand-alone items.
Yep, that’s a Yo-Kai Watch watch.
