Polygon reports that this past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel confirmed that there will be more big console games from the franchise.

Marvel Games producer Mike Jones was on a panel dedicated to the company’s digital offerings, which includes video games. While most of these games are mobile titles, when asked whether Marvel was going to continue looking for partners in making console games, Jones responded in the affirmative. More importantly, he mentioned that they have games in the works already, including something in partnership with Telltale Games (makers of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and the upcoming Minecraft story mode).

“We are very much focused on what our console strategy will be for the future,” Jones said. “We’ll have a lot more announcements probably next year.”
