Disney Speedstorm season 10, “Trick or Treat” is available now on PC, mobile, and consoles, adding new racers, crew members, and racetrack from Disney’s go-to Halloween resource: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Season 10 adds four new racers from the beloved animated film: Jack Skellington (Speedster), Sally (Defender), Oogie Boogie (Brawler), and Dr. Finkelstein (Trickster).
Naturally, Jack and Sally are locked behind the premium tier of the Golden Pass ($9.99). Jack is found in Part 1, and Sally in Part 2.
Dr. Finkelstein is available in the free tier of the Golden Pass, while Oogie Boogie is unlocked by playing the Season Tour.
The big prize is the awesome new racing environment inspired by Burton’s memorable world, including Halloween Town, Oogie Boogie’s Lair, and Christmas Town. The racetrack is featured in six different courses, showing off the various zones and regions of the nightmare world.
Season 10 also brings a lot of new changes and updates to the online kart racer. Players can no longer earn Golden Pass XP via the Season Tour, now only through Daily and Season missions. A new pity system ensures players receive a high value item after opening a set number of random loot boxes. And players at rank 25 can take on new, tougher Arbee Challenge Nodes for extra rewards.
Disney Speedstorm is free-to-play on PC, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and mobile platforms. It’s rated E for Everyone, and includes microtransactions, and random loot boxes.
