Indie developer Feel Free Games announced Luma Island, a co-op farm sim coming to PC (Steam) on November 20.

The description checks all the classic Stardew Valley cozy farm sim boxes: mine and harvest resources, upgrade tools, expand your farm, tend to crops and animals, shop and chat in a cute small town, explore the region, and delve into dangerous areas to collect treasure and resources.

Luma Island also has Luma, magic creatures that generate a unique form of energy called Luma Energy.

Players can progress along specific professions with their own important skills, including farmer, brewer, blacksmith, and jeweler.

I really dig the trailer, which showcases the fun art style. The world and characters look like children’s toys and figures. It also supports online four player co-op.

Will Luma Island rise above the overwhelming amount of farm sim games we have available? I have no idea, but it sure looks nice.

Luma Island won’t release until November, but interested players can get their hands on the free demo during the next Steam Next Fest. The Steam Next Fest will begin October 14.
