International Women’s Day is March 8, and indie publisher WINGS Interactive is celebrating with a big sale on Steam. The Women’s Day Sale begins March 1, and runs through March 10. The sale includes over 400 games and demos by women and gender-marginalized groups.
Some discounted highlights include The Wandering Village (25% off), I Am Future (35% off), Inkulinati (40% off), and Old World (30% off). Definitely check out the Hidden Gem section for other great indie games, such as Ooblets, and Frog Detective 2.
The event kicks off with the Games with Wings Showcase. Hosted by speaker, creator, and DE&I consultant Ebonix and Krista from WINGS, the showcase will feature interviews with developers, as well as trailers and gameplay demos for recently released games and upcoming titles.
The Games with Wings Showcase will air at 10 am Pacific/1 pm Eastern on Twitch, YouTube, and Steam.
Last summer’s Dames4Games showcase will re-air on March 6, followed by the Women-led Games showcase on March 8-10. The Women-led Games Showcase will feature even more interviews, trailers, and announcements, as well as segments on building PCs, maintaining mental health, and becoming a content creator.
