During the latest Nintendo Direct, indie French developer Don’t Nod, best known for the Life is Strange series, announced their next game. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie will launch this June on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Switch, and Xbox X/S.

Watch the trippy new trailer above. Unlike the Life is Strange series, which was published by Square Enix, Harmony is self-published by the indie developer.

Harmony stars Polly, a woman who returns to her home town of Alma to search for her missing brother. Alma is controlled by an oppressive mega corporation named MK.

Polly discovers she has the special ability to connect to another world, called Reverie. In that world she becomes Harmony, and meets other “Aspirations of Humanity,” such as Glory, Chaos, and Power.

As Polly (and Harmony) make choices, they affect both worlds, opening up multiple narrative paths. Players can navigate these paths with the Augural, a board game-like visual representation of her powers.

“We are excited to reveal Harmony: The Fall of Reverie at the Nintendo Direct. It is a unique game in its narration with an incredible art direction,” said Oskar Guilbert, CEO, Don’t Nod. “We hope players will find this experience stunning and refreshing and that the unique narrative will connect deeply with them. We can’t wait to show more soon.”

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie will release this June. It’s available to wishlist on Steam and Nintendo eShop.
