March 10 is Mario Day, according to Nintendo, for the simple reason that Mar. 10 looks like the name of the famous gaming icon. This year is even more special as Nintendo is still celebrating Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary through the end of March.
From now until March 13, you can save 35% on select Mario games for the Switch on the Nintendo eShop. More like Mar10 Week!

Several Nintendo games are getting Mario-themed events this month. Mario Kart Tour will include a Mario Tour, including new courses, from March 9 to March 23. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will feature special My Nintendo missions. And you can receive a Mario hat by logging in between now and March 23.
Mario-themed items and costumes have officially arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including usable Warp Pipes that can transport you across your island.
Mario fans will also want to check out the latest game, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, featuring the original 2015 co-op platformer and a new spin-off sequel.
