The big screen Monster Hunter film adaptation is set to release on December 25. To celebrate, Capcom is hosting an in-game crossover event with Monster Hunter: World via new Event Quests, starting December 4.

The Event Quest will feature two hunts inspired by the upcoming film. The first pits you against a fearsome Black Diablos, and the second a gigantic Greater Rathalos. Both quests will be challenging, and you’ll need to have reached Master Rank (completed the base game) in order to access them.

Completing the quests will earn special gear and layered armor, as well as new titles, background, and poses. Players who own the Iceborne expansion will also be able to claim a limited time item pack that includes log-in bonuses.

Judging by the trailer, it looks like the film’s star, Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) will make an appearance as a playable hunter. New armor set will replicate her black steel look from the film,

The movie is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson (Resident Evil), and transports modern soldiers Artemis and her batallion into the Monster Hunter world, home to terrifying monsters. They’ll need the help of veteran Hunter (Tony Jaa) to learn how to fight back against these beasts, and take on a world-ending threat.

Monster Hunter: World is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen. The event begins December 4. The film opens December 25, and is rated PG-13.
