Star Stable Entertainment is releasing the first book in a new fantasy series called Soul Riders, based on the Star Stable Online adventure game. The book series, like the game, is targeted at young readers ages 9-14.
The first book is Soul Riders: Jorvik Calling, written by Helena Dahlgren. It’s launching on March 24 at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other book retailers for $8.99.
The series features an all-girl team of horse enthusiasts called the Soul Riders. The Soul Riders unlock powers, bond with their horses, and embark on adventures to save the land of Jorvik. The books are designed to appeal to any young fantasy fans, even if they’ve never heard of Star Stable Online.
Lisa is a teenage girl who is still coming to terms with the tragic loss of her mother in a riding accident and has sworn never to go near a horse again until she met Starshine, a mysterious blue-maned steed who comes to her in dreams. New on the island of Jorvik, Lisa befriends Alex, Linda, and Anne. Under the guidance of mystical druids, they discover they each have a special bond to their horses that gives them magical powers. While trying to balance school, family, and friendships they have to figure out what it means to be a Soul Rider.
