Publisher Focus Home Interactive and Developer DONTNOD have released a teaser trailer for the first episode of their four-part webseries based on their upcoming Vampyr RPG. The first Episode will be released on January 18. The next three episodes will be releasing over the next few weeks up to Vampyre’s launch in Spring 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Vampyr is an immersive RPG where you live the dual life of a doctor and a newly-turned vampire in 1918 London, during a flu epidemic. Dr. Jonathan Reid wants to save the city and heal the sick, but also needs to feed to survive. It’s up to you who to save and who to slaughter by stalking and talking.
The first episode of the webseries, titled “Making Monsters,” will dive into the duality between Reid as both a doctor and a vampire, and the choices you need to make. Killings have consequences, but you’ll also gain abilities as you grown in strength. Each webisode will show new gameplay footage and behind-the-scenes interviews with DONTNOD developers.
The titles of the other episodes were also revealed:

- Episode II: Architects of the Obscure
- Episode III: Human After All
- Episode IV: Stories From the Dark
Vampyr is coming Spring 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You can pre-order now for the Hunters Heirlooms DLC, which comes with two unique weapons and one outfit. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB, but judging by the content I imagine we’re looking at an M rating.
