Amazon Prime Day is today, July 11. It’s a big sale dale for Amazon Prime subscribers, though past years have elicited disappointment from the gaming crowd. This year is fairing a bit better, at least with some nice console deals. Amazon even has categories you can search by, including one for Gamers.
It’s difficult to track down the deals since everything is available for limited time and stock. Lightning deals last for several hours but popular items sell out quickly. Amazon does list upcoming deals and when they start to help plan your shopping.
With that said, there are some particularly lucrative gaming deals for Amazing Prime Day 2017. The PlayStation 4 Slim 500 GB Uncharted 4 Bundle is $229 (24% off). This bundle is usually already marked down to $250, but $229 is one of the cheapest prices I’ve ever seen for a PS4. Plus for Prime Day you receive a digital code for The Last of Us Remastered and several digital comic books via Comixology, including Star Wars (2015) #1.
Current PlayStation 4 game deals include Prey for $29.99 (50% off), For Honor at $29.99 (50% off), and Dragon Quest Heroes II for $43.00 (28% off). Upcoming deals include Final Fantasy XV, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Dark Souls 3, and Overwatch.
Or how about an Xbox One? Amazon Prime lists two Xbox One S deals. The first is the Xbox One S 1TB Halo Wars 2 Bundle for $289, while the second is a 500GB bundle minus Halo Wars 2 for $239. Both bundles come with a second controller and three digital games: Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5, and Recore.
Upcoming Xbox One game sales include LEGO Worlds and Dark Souls 3.
Nintendo’s sales are the lightest and, as expected, the busiest. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is already 100% claimed (waitlist still available at the time of this post) while a deal on Mario Maker 3DS has already ended.
For the PC gaming crowd you can find several good deals on gaming mice, keyboards, and headsets from brands like Corsair and Turtle Beach.
Prime Day technically started last night, but should end around midnight tonight in your time zone.
