LEGO has a handy-dandy way of avoiding making kids want to watch Netflix’s more adult-oriented Marvel shows, like “Jessica Jones” and “Daredevil.”

In games like the upcoming LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, they’re using the comic book hero versions of the characters, rather than the sad alcoholics from the Netflix shows.

Jessica Jones will be portrayed as her first superhero alter ego, Jewel, complete with spandex suit and purple hair. Luke Cage will be included as Powerman, and Daredevil will be…well, Daredevil, but more red.

The trailer LEGO released today shows off the game’s many locations, all of which will be familiar if you’ve been keeping up with the blockbuster Marvel movies. New York, Barton Farm, Sokovia (the fictional Eastern European country from Age of Ultron), South Africa, Washington, D.C., Asgard, and Tony Stark’s seaside mansion.

Like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel’s Avengers will be an open-world exploration game. It will include events that will be familiar to anyone who’s been keeping up with Marvel: the huge battle from the end of ‘The Avengers,” when the Chitauri attack New York, will be in the game, for example. But it looks like it won’t be completely beholden to the plot of the movies.

Films you’ll recognize referenced include “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Iron Man 3,” both Captain America movies, and “Thor: The Dark World.”

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers comes out on January 26 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. So basically everything.
