Revenge of the Battle Cars is on its way to Rocket League. This new DLC will launch in October.
This DLC will bring two new/old cars to Rocket League: Scarab and Zippy, from the Rocket League prequel Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.
Want stuff for your cars? This DLC also delivers stuff in mass quantities. New paint types, 12 new decals, and 4 new toppers will be available to customize your cars, as well as antennas, wheels, and of course rocket boosts. New Trophies and Achievements will also ship with the game for completionists out there. One of the toppers is a shark fin which, yes? I’ll take one for my real car, thanks.
Revenge of the Battle Cars will be available for download on the PlayStation 4, as well as through Steam on the PC for $3.99. Whether you buy the DLC or not, there will be two free arenas included in the Rocket League update.
These are both alternate versions of existing arenas. Urban Station (Night) and Utopia Coliseum (Dusk) will be free, along with some new country and community flags.
This is the second DLC released for summer star Rocket League. The first one also introduced new vehicles and car loot, at the same price point. Since its release, Rocket League has sold over a million copies on Steam. Developer Psyonix is keeping the action lively with their continuous updates. The Supersonic Fury DLC has sold over 600,000 copies since its August 13 release, and Rocket League itself is poised to be a success in the esports sphere.
However, as we mentioned ourselves, it’s fun for everyone and not just competitive gamers. In Rocket League, two teams of cars attempt to play soccer with a comically oversized ball, knocking it back and forth until it goes into someone’s goal. It’s over-the-top and kind of awesome. Rocket League is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
