Sega and developer Two Point Studios announced Rides & Relics, the fourth premium DLC expansion to management sim, Two Point Museum. Rides & Relics will add new exhibits, including coasters, as well as a new campaign when it launches on October 8.
Who needs a whole planet of coasters? With Rides & Relics, Two Point Museum is adding a mini-theme park with the new fairgrounds theme.
The new Gearbox Fairgrounds features new locations to explore, featuring the new Funfair experts, who also carefully maintain the newly discovered rides.
Over 15 Funfair exhibits can be discovered, including Antique Amusements, and five different coaster themes. Players can build and customize their own mini-coasters, shaping the angles, speed, drops, and elements such as chains and boosters.
Funfair exhibits will help satisfy a new desire for guests: thrill. Thrill increases their desire to stay in the museum, maximizing their visit, and donations.
Assistants can dress up as museum mascots, bringing joy to guests across different themes.
The new campaign has player’s restoring the Riquetti Gardens as they help Gretchen Gearbox realize her grandfather’s dream of a functioning theme park.
As a big fan of RollerCoaster Tycoon and Sim Theme Park, I do hope that our next full Two Point Studios explores a full theme park sim. But for now, I’ll definitely take an awesome expansion to a one of the best management sims around!
Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics will launch on October 8 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, with the Switch 2 version coming soon.
In other Two Point news, the original Two Point Studios sim, Two Point Hospital, is coming to PC and consoles with all DLC and content updates as the Free Health Collection on September 16. Owners of Two Point Hospital can freely get the new version for 50% discount.
The Two Point series is rated E for Everyone.
