Garena announced Palworld Online, an officially licensed spinoff that turns the creature collecting survival game, Palworld, into a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG, designed for mobile platforms, and arriving later this year.
Palworld Online will feature a seamless, interconnected open world designed to explore and play with other players around the world, including PvE encounters and PvP matches. Friends can share a home base together as a hub for crafting, building, ranching, defense, and storage. Pals can be used to automate production and defense.
It’s still a creature collector, with a primary focus on finding, collecting, and raising Pals as players explore the world and discover new challenges.
As a made-for-mobile RPG, Palworld Online will feature touch-friendly controls and one-tap controls for everything from Pal deployment to base construction.
Just a few years ago I may haves scoffed at that, but mobile gaming has come a long way!

Palworld Online is scheduled to release later this year.
After two years in early access, the notoriously popular survival crafting creature collector exited Early Access earlier this year, and continues to be one of the most played games on Steam. Palworld is avaialble on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox, and rated T for Teen.
