Summer Games Done Quick 2026 kicks off this Sunday, July 5 with another week-long marathon of live stream gaming goodness. The marathon charity stream takes place July 5-11 at the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown, with donations made to charity organization, Doctors Without Borders. It’s also streamed live on the GDQ Twitch and YouTube channels.

The marathon is full of old games, new games, and wacky games. Early Tuesday morning features oldies such as Ogre Battle, Star Wars: Jedi Knight- Dark Forces 2, and System Shock 2.

More recent games include Monster Hunter Wilds, Pragmata, Saros, Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, Mouse: P.I. for Hire, and Slay the Spire 2.

The final day will feature a 120 Star tool-assisted speedrun of popular speedrunning game, Super Mario 64. Friday, July 10 will highlight a record-breaking Balatro run by Adef, after which GDQ will interview popular digital avatar Vtuber, Ironmouse.

As with all of GDQ’s marathon events, viewers are encouraged to donate to a charity. Every donation for Summer Games Done Quick 2026 will go to Doctors Without Borders. Doctors Without Borders funds emergency care and provides humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters or armed conflict.

To date, Games Done Quick has raised over $60 million for global charities. Games Done Quick features marathon charity drives throughout the year, with the largest being Awesome Games Done Quick every January. The next charity event is Flame Fatales 2026, themed around women and femme speedrunners, taking place September 13-19.
