After its initial reveal in late 2024, Team17 and Radical Forge confirmed that Golf With Your Friends 2 will release later this Fall on PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
Golf With Your Friends 2 is a physics-based multiplayer party game where up to 12 players compete in zany minigolf courses. The sequel features new game modes, an enhanced level editor, and supports cross-platform play.
The new Chaos mode features remixed courses and dynamic challenges that change on the fly. The advanced level editor will feature improved tools, advanced customization, and better controls for building and sharing courses.
Six new themed courses are available, with each course introducing a new feature to work around, such as shifts in gravity, or twisting through the environment.
Players can also customize their balls (ahem) with colors, hats, trails, and more via the unlockable progression system. And no, there are no microtransactions whatsoever.
Up to 12 players can play via local or online multiplayer. Local multiplayer involves hotseat instead of split-screen, as players take turns hitting their balls. Don’t worry, you can also play entirely solo.
The original Golf With Your Friends released in 2020 and proved to be a big hit. Oh, and it’s currently on sale for 90% off on Steam as part of the Team17 Digital collection sale, and 75% off on the Nintendo eShop.
