Two Point Museum’s first DLC, Fantasy Finds, is releasing next week on July 17, but players can enjoy the big new 4.0 update right now.

Two Point Museum Update 4.0 includes an entirely new museum level, Pointy Mountains. It’s billed as the finale museum, and you won’t even unlock it until reaching Curator Class VII. The frosty location features five stars to reach, and a story involving the missing curator. Pointy Mountains also adds two new guest types and one new exhibit.

The new update also adds some free content from the upcoming DLC, which the developers are calling the Fantasy Finds Taster. The free content includes the first three new Points of Interest in the new Scorched Earth map: Fledgling Arms, Wishfell, and Fairydale.

To send expeditions out to the new POIs, you’ll need to hire the new Fantasy Experts, which also arrive in the update. Inspired by RPG classes, Fantasy Experts include Rogues, Wizards, and Bards, who excel at different challenges. By succeeding, experts can uncover half a dozen new Fantasy-themed exhibits. Plus, players can unlock new Fantasy-themed decorations and gift shop items. Any museum which hosts Fantasy Exhibits will attract three new guest types: Dwarves, Elves, and Goblins!

The update also includes some nice improvements, bug fixes, and other updates, as well as two new staff traits.

If you enjoy watching Twitch streamers play Two Point Museum, you can also earn special staff costumes. Twitch drops are available through August 7th, and require players to link their Twitch account to their Two Point County account.

If you haven’t played the excellent Two Point sim series, now’s a great chance to pick them up. The three-game franchise (plus various DLC) is on sale on Steam, with up to 75% off for the original Two Point Hospital.

Two Point Museum is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, and coming soon to Switch 2.

The series is rated E for Everyone.
