Two Point Studios revealed the first paid DLC expansion for Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds. Fantasy Finds will release on July 17.
With many rule-of-cool themes and genres already in Two Point Museum (dinosaurs, ghosts, sci-fi), fantasy looks like the perfect fit. I expect cheeky references to Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and more.
Fantasy Finds include a new fantasy expedition map that looks straight out of a novel. By hiring new Fantasy Experts (which are classic RPG classes such as Wizard and Rogue), players can discover 40 new exhibits to bring to the museum. Dragon skeletons! Mimic chests! Garden gnomes! Genie teapots! Delightful.
Fantasy Experts will feature D&D-like stats and attributes, and will need to overcome challenges to complete the adventure, er, expedition.
Well-maintained fantasy exhibits can boost guests, but neglected curios will dish out curses.
The fantasy-themed Two Point Museum DLC also includes three new guest archetypes, and 26 new decorations and utility items. Plus new interactive displays, banners, wallpapers, flooring, and a fantasy-appropriate skin for the helicopter.
Two Point Museum is one of our favorite games of the year, and has received several free content updates since launch. The Fantasy Finds DLC will release on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, and Xbox on July 17. It’s rated E for Everyone.
