During Summer Game Fest 2025, Frontier Developments officially unveiled Jurassic World Evolution 3. The dino theme park sim will release October 21 on PC (Steam, Epic Games), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
What more can Frontier gives us in the theme park sim series? Baby dinosaurs, for a start!
Jurassic World Evolution 3 will ship with 80 different prehistoric species, 75 of which can breed and create families across generations. That also means we’ll have distinct male, female, and juvenile versions of each dinosaur.
Plus, semi-aquatic dinosaurs can swim in deep water (hello, spinosaurus!), and pterosaurus will walk on land.
The non-dino parts are also getting a big upgrade, such as expanded terrain tools to create slopes and cliffs. Guests can also get up and close and personal with dinosaurs via the Dinosaur Encounter — which I’m sure always ends well.
The new campaign features the iconic voice work of Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm. Players will manage parks around the world as they juggle their reputation with three different industries, while keeping their dinosaurs, guests, and clients happy.
In addition to the Standard Edition ($59.99), Jurassic World Evolution 3 is also launching with a Deluxe Edition ($74.99). The Deluxe Edition includes four additional dinosaur species, Protoceratops, Guanlong, Thanatosdrakon, and Concavenator, plus bonus skins and scenery. Both editions include the Badlands Set as a pre-order bonus, adding scenery items inspired by the dig site from the original Jurassic Park.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 released in 2021, expanding the dinosaur theme park sim beyond the islands and around the world. The series is rated T for Teen.
