At Summer Game Fest 2025, the LEGO Group, along with developer SMG Studio and new publisher Fictions, announced LEGO Party!, a four player multiplayer party game. LEGO Party! will release later this year on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
It’s obvious to see the direct inspiration behind the party game: it’s right there in the title! Instead of stars, players will collect Golden Bricks while competing in a series of 60 wacky minigames. Challenge Zones (aka boards in Mario Party) are modeled after familiar LEGO themes, such as pirates, space, and Ninjago.
Players can customize their minifig in true LEGO fashion, unlocking new pieces with millions of different combinations from across LEGO sets.
“We are thrilled to be working with the LEGO Group on this playful and vibrant party game that encourages connection, creativity and of course, competition,” said Evan Icenbice, Executive Producer, Fictions. “LEGO is known for bringing people of all ages together to play and that is certainly the case for LEGO Party!.”
The party game supports split screen local co-op as well as online (with cross-platform) for up to four players.
Fictions is a new publisher formed earlier this year from a team of game developers “who support and champion games as well as the creative minds behind them.” LEGO Party! is their first game announcement, with more to follow.
LEGO Party! is rated E for Everyone.
