Dreamhaven and developer FuzzyBot released Lynked: Banner of the Spark, an RPG that blends roguelite action and life-sim. It’s available now on Steam PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and features a 20% launch discount ($19.99).

Lynked is set in a future world taken over by evil robots. Thankfully, we also have good robots that fight with us, called Unibots. It’s a shame none of them transform and deliver amazing one-liners, though.

Together with your robot allies, and up to three other players, you’ll tackle action-packed missions against swarms of robots and big bosses. Utilize 10 different weapon styles with dozens of variations and upgrades.

But progression isn’t limited to player power. Use parts and resources from missions to expand and upgrade your base, and fill out an entire safe haven. In town you can do the usual life sim routine, fishing, harvesting, collecting, and crafting.

The new 1.0 release finishes chapters 5-9 of the main story, adds a new late-game region, more enemies and bosses. Plus, new easier difficulty modes for those who err more on the life-sim side of things.

“Bright worlds, expressive characters, and cooperative gameplay mark what we—and our players—love about games,” said Max Spielberg, Co-founder and Creative Director, FuzzyBot. “Lynked reflects that vision. It’s been player-driven from the start, and we’ve built on that with new challenges and surprises for the game’s full launch.”

Lynked: Banner of the Spark is rated E10+ with Fantasy Violence and Language.
