This week, digital gaming store Steam is hosting the Couch Co-op Fest, featuring hundreds of discounted co-op games, new demos, and live streams.

Now when I hear “couch co-op,” I picture gamers literally sitting on the same couch playing a game together. Also known as local co-op. The PC isn’t a great platform for that. In fact, as a father who doesn’t have a lot of solo game time, it’s probably the main reason I own consoles.

But judging by the promos and trailers, Steam is expanding “couch co-op” to mean any co-op game, regardless of where the couches are. Okay, fine.

Overcooked 2 is one of the more popular co-op games. The zany puzzle and light platforming cooking game is at an all-time low at 75% off.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the biggest RPGs of the last few years — and a rare RPG with full co-op. It’s an absolute blast if you can get together for around 100 hours. It’s also on its lowest discount at 20% off.

If you’ve already loved BG3 and want more, look no further than Larian Studios’ earlier RPG, Divinitiy Original Sin 2, at a solid 70% off.

If you’re looking for classic co-op game for teens and up, Left 4 Dead 2 is only $0.99. I could make a zombie joke about how it’s a no-brainer.

Other great deals include LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (80% off), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate (35% off), and Sackboy: A Big Adventure (60% off).

For a brand new co-op game, check out Door Kickers 2: Task Force North. It looks like a delightfully old school, top-down tactical strategy game with gritty modern gunplay.

The Steam Couch Co-op Fest ends February 17.
