Disney Speedstorm Season 11, “Save the World,” is live now, adding new racers from Pixar’s The Incredibles and a new track.

The five new racers include all four members of the Parr family, along with Mr. Incredible’s best friend Frozone.

Mr. Incredible is a Brawler, using his strength to hurl rocks and create obstacles for other racers. As a Trickster, Mrs. Incredible stuns opponents with her stretchy arms, and can form a powerful glider with her body.

Violet’s force field powers make her a stalwart Defender, while Dash is an obvious Speedster with quick bursts of speed. Finally, Frozone is another Defender who can create speed-boosting ice platforms, and freeze other racers.

Other familiar characters from the beloved series appear as Crew Members, including Edna Mode and many villains. The villain from the first film, Syndrome, is conspicuously absent, however.

Now for the bad news: only Violet and Dash are unlockable for free, Violet via the Season Tour, and Dash with the free tier of the seasonal Golden Pass. The other three racers can only be unlocked by purchasing the premium tier of the Golden Pass ($9.99):

•    Mr. Incredible will be unlockable via the premium tier of the Golden Pass Part 3
•    Frozone will be unlockable via the premium tier of the Golden Pass Part 2
•    Mrs. Incredible will be unlockable via the premium tier of the Golden Pass Part 1
•    Violet will be unlockable via the Season Tour in all Parts
•    Dash will be unlockable via the free tier of the Golden Pass in all Parts

The new racing environment is modeled after The Incredibles’ city of Metroville, and features six different circuits, including Metroville Mayhem, Downtown Circuit, and Omnidroid Outrun.

Disney Speedstorm is a free-to-play, live service kart racer. It’s available on PC, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and mobile platforms, and rated E for Everyone.
