Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames (Wolfenstein) have released one of Xbox’s most anticipated games of the year: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It’s available now on PC (Steam, Windows) and Xbox Series X/S — including Game Pass.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person, stealth-action-adventure set in the middle of the original Indiana Jones trilogy.

Set in 1937 on the cusp of World War II, the whip-wielding explorer and archeologist is embroiled in a global plot of mystery and conquest by powerful factions vying for an ancient power.

Jones isn’t the typical gun-toting action hero. He must rely on his fists, his whip, and various improvised weapons to take out bad guys — or avoid them altogether. He’ll also contend with hidden traps and ancient puzzles while thwarting the pre-Axis Powers.

Indiana Jones uses Harrison Ford’s likeness (duh!), but the character is voiced by gaming VA veteran Troy Baker in an uncanny resemblance.

Although Bethesda was acquired by Microsoft in 2021, Indiana Jones is only a timed console exclusive for Xbox. A PlayStation 5 version is due to release in early 2025.

The Great Circle is also available in a Digital Premium Edition ($99), which includes the Temple of Doom outfit, digital art book, and story DLC, The Order of Giants (releasing at a “later date”). The Collector’s Edition ($189) also includes an 11″ Globe, and New Adventure Journal.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is rated T for Teen.
