HoYoverse revealed details for Zenless Zone Zero 1.4, which will add new S-rank agents Miayabi and Harumasa, and conclude the current storyline, when it releases on December 18.
Hoshimi Miyabi and and Asaba Harmusa are the remaining Section 6 agents arriving with 1.4, “A Storm of Falling Stars.”
Miyabi is one of the most anticipated agents ever since her tease earlier in the game’s story. The chief of Section 6, Miaybi is a first-of-her-kind Frost-Anomaly Agent who wields her powerful katana to trigger Icefire.
Harumasa is an Electric Agent who can swap between his bow and blade, marking targets and firing off volleys of electric arrows. Harumasa will be obtainable for free after 1.4 launches, for anyone who has reached Inter-Knot level 8, which is pretty early.
The newly added Chapter 5 will conclude the ongoing storyline that began when the game launched earlier this year. We’ll learn more about Wise and Belle’s backstories, and the involvement of corrupt businessman Perlman and the Vision Corporation.
The update also brings a lot of new gameplay changes and improvements. All playable agents in the city, individual Decibels and Ultimates during combat (instead of squad-shared), and redesigned Main Story missions for earlier Chapters.
Hollow Zero will also receive a new operation and update, alongside a brand new tower defense mode played with Bangboo.
Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play, gacha action-RPG. It’s available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. It’s also launching natively on PlayStation 5 Pro on December 18.
