Square Enix and FuturLab have announced the next paid DLC for PowerWash Simulator: Shrek Special Pack. The Shrek DLC will release on October 10 on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox ($7.99).
The new DLC features five familiar fairy tale locales from the popular animated films, including Shrek’s beloved swamp. Players can even enter Shrek’s home — but remember, you have a job to do!
Washers can also clean up the city of Duloc, the Dragon’s Lair, and Hansel’s Honeymoon Hideaway. Fairy Godmother’s Potion Factory from Shrek 2 is the final location, featuring working machines that require a deep cleaning.
The new campaign features fun messages from familiar characters, and support for two player co-op. Up to six players can join in via free play mode.
PowerWash Simulator is a first-person-cleaner, where players blast highly-pressurized water and clean grime and dirt from various locations. There are no enemies or time limits, just a chill game about cleaning. Crossover DLC has proven popular, including SpongeBob SquarePants and Alice in Wonderland.
Since launch, PowerWash Simulator still sits at an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam (96%), and features thousands of players online.
PowerWash Simulator is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox. It’s rated E for Everyone.
