Frontier Developments announced the release date for highly anticipated sim park sequel, Planet Coaster 2. Planet Coaster 2 will launch November 6 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S ($49.99).

Planet Coaster 2’s big new addition is water parks, including lazy rivers, pools, slides, and flume rides, as well as changing rooms, lifeguards, and seasonal rides.

Players can enjoy deeper ride customization with event sequencers, water attractions, and detailed track construction. Confirmed park themes include Resort, Aquatic, Viking, and Mythology.

And in a series first, players can build their parks together (one at a time) with a shared Sandbox level across platforms, as well as visit friend’s parks and share blueprints.

Planet Coaster 2 is the sequel to the 2016 original, which was a successor to the classic RollerCoaster Tycoon series. Players manage theme parks through a career mode, challenge modes, or blank sandboxes, building paths, scenery, rides, and laying track for rollercoasters, as well as managing staff, food stands, and ticket prices.

Pre-order Planet Coaster 2 to receive the Bonus Ride Collection, which includes the rotating tracked ride FD Vision, the Outmax Water Coaster, and the flat ride The Cube.

Planet Coaster 2 will be available in Standard ($49.99) and Deluxe Editions ($64.99). The Deluxe Edition includes the Vintage Funfair Ride Pack, which features 10 nostalgic rides and attractions.

Planet Coaster 2 has been rated E for Everyone.
