Aethon Books have released Isekai Crafter Book 1: The Llama Glama Gang on Amazon Kindle and Audible. The Minecraft book is also available in paperback ($9.99).

Written by Marshal Carper, The Llama Glama Gang is an unofficial adventure set in the world of Minecraft, written for kids and young adults.

The manga-obsessed main character becomes trapped within the world of Minecraft, a game he’s wholly unfamiliar with. He must learn how to survive in the humorous crafting world while crossing paths with the thieving Llama Glama Gang.

Uniquely, the author is also an independent developer and released a tie-in add-on, My Little Llama Overhaul, for the Minecraft Marketplace. The add-on injects the magical llamas from the novel, including seven uniquely-powered breeds and four new sets of armor.

A full adventure map inspired from the book is expected to release soon.

“The isekai genre is known for blending video game mechanics into magical worlds,” said Marshal Carper, author and founder of Carper Creative. “There are a lot of isekai stories that feature things like farming and crafting, but most of them focus on RPG mechanics. Instead, we wanted to tell a story where crafting and building mechanics inspired by games like Minecraft or Terraria were central to the story and action.”

Minecraft is available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
