Of all the Nintendo Directs, the Partner Showcase is perhaps the least exciting, focusing on third-party titles and indie games coming to Switch.
But hey, more Switch games!
This month’s Partner Showcase revealed a formerly Xbox-exclusive game coming to Switch with Grounded, a remaster of Wii-era platformer Epic Mickey, and a surprise sequel to Endless Ocean.
Five classic games developed by Rare are being added to the Nintendo Switch Online library: Snake Rattle N Roll (NES), R.C. Pro-Am (NES), Killer Instinct (SNES), Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES), and Blast Corps (N64). Note that only Expansion Pack subscribers have access to Nintendo 64 titles.
Oh, and there’s also a new demo available for hotly anticipated tactical RPG, Unicorn Overlord, over on the Nintendo eShop.
Grounded
Just last week, Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer teased four Xbox-exclusive games coming to other platforms, and Grounded looks like the first official confirmation. The kid-friendly co-op survival-crafting game makes a perfect Switch port, as up to four players build bases, craft tools and weapons, and try to survive while being shrunk to the size of an ant.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a remaster of the underrated Disney platformer that released in 2010 on the Nintendo Wii. It stars Mickey Mouse who gets sucked into an inky world that has also trapped former Disney mascot Oswald the rabbit. The remaster features updated graphics and improved abilities with new skills for Mickey to wield.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
My vote for coolest looking game of this Direct goes to Ender Magnolia, a sequel to Ender Lillies, a dark fantasy 2D metroidvania with some serious Castlevania vibes. Explore a dystopian world, defeat enemies, and transform them into powerful allied attack and skills.
Release: 2024
Endless Ocean: Luminous
The original Endless Ocean released in 2008 in North America as a nonviolent scuba diving game where players explored the ocean to discover marine wildlife. It spawned a sequel in 2010, but the series was left floundering until now, with Endless Ocean Luminous. Luminous is an all-new entry that features procedurally generated exploration, and online multiplayer with up to 30 players as fellow divers.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
Vengeance is an enhanced version of RPG Shin Megami Tensei 5, which released on Switch in 2021. SMT5 plops our young hero into an apocalyptic world ravaged by war between angels and demons. Vengeance features two story paths, adding an all-new storyline with new areas and demons to battle (and recruit), alongside story-critical decisions.
Release: June 21
Monster Hunter Stories
Monster Hunter Stories is a youthful, Pokémon-like spinoff of the classic boss battling series. The Nintendo Switch is getting a remaster of the original 2017 RPG, which previously released on the 3DS. The remaster features HD graphics, new voices, and content that was originally exclusive to the Japanese release.
Release: Summer 2024
Other games coming to Switch later this year include the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, South Park: Snow Day, and World of Goo 2.
