Gameloft announced that freemium racing game Disney Speedstorm will fully launch as version 1.0 on September 28 on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.

Leaving Early Access doesn’t appear to change much in the game, though will perhaps coincide with the launch of a new season. Season 2, “To Infinity and Beyond,” began in June, adding four new Toy Story racers, a new racetrack, and two new game modes.

Season 3 was recently teased, revealing Stritch as an upcoming racer.

The primary different between Early Access and launch, is you won’t have to purchase a Founder’s Pack to play the game once it leaves Early Access. The kart racer will be fully free-to-play, with optional, purchasable seasonal battle passes that unlock additional goodies as your progress.

The current Founder’s Pack (starting at $29.99) will no longer be available after September 28. Founder’s Packs are also on sale for 20% – 30% off.

“Since the launch of Early Access, we’ve received invaluable feedback and support from players, which have been instrumental in shaping Disney Speedstorm into the incredible racing experience it is today,” says Aska Suzuki, Game Manager. “Our incredible community’s enthusiasm, dedication, and love for the game have been our inspiration from day one, and we can’t wait to continue this journey together as we enter this exciting new phase.”

Disney Speedstorm is currently available via Early Access on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox. It’s rated E for Everyone.
