Games for Change announced programming and speakers for its 2023 20th Anniversary Festival, taking place in New York City from July 18 through July 20. Tickets are now available to purchase.

Speakers and topics include a wide range of issues prevalent in modern gaming culture and technology.

Paul Fletcher, a Professor of Health Neuroscience at University of Cambridge, will discuss mental health and gaming through the Insight Project, which combines gaming technology such as VR with clinical neuroscience to tackle mental distress.

Cynthia Williams, President at Wizards of the Coast, will host a panel discussing Dungeons & Dragons’ impact at schools as a system for improving mathematics, storytelling, and social communication.

Protocol Labs’ Jesse Damiani’s panel will discuss the rapidly-growing metaverse and AI technology, such as ChatGPT, and how it affects safety, data, and digital literacy.
