Another animal pack DLC is coming to Planet Zoo. The Grasslands Animal Pack ($9.99) releases on December 13, adding eight new highly requested animals from plains and prairies.
Grasslands Animal Pack includes the following new animals:
- Nine-Banded Armadillo
- Maned Wolf
- Emu
- Caracal
- Red-Necked Wallaby
- Striped Hyena
- Blue Wildebeest
- plus five species of Butterflies
The different butterfly species can be housed together in the same Walkthrough Exhibit, a first interspecies exhibit animal for Planet Zoo.
Many of the animals include all-new animations, from the Armadillo’s sniffing and preening to the Caracal’s bouncing ears.
The DLC pack also adds a new Career scenario. The mission is set in the grasslands of Argentina, and features the return of wealthy socialite Tiffany Summers, previously featured in the Twilight Scenario Pack. You’ll help Tiffany relocate animals from her mansion grounds to proper enclosures in a zoo.
The DLC will release alongside the free 1.12 update, which will add guided tours by staff, a helpful bulldozer tool, and a diorama mode for creating dioramas in sandbox mode.
Planet Zoo recently celebrated its third anniversary, and remains a fantastic, and educational, sim game. It’s available on Steam PC. It’s rated E10+.
