Respawn Entertainment (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends) announced that they are working on three all new Star Wars games, including a sequel to Fallen Order. The games will be published by Lucasfilm Games and Electronic Arts.

The Fallen Order sequel is described as the “next chapter in the Star Wars Jedi story.” Stig Asmussen returns as game director.

The other two Star Wars games are a first-person shooter, and a strategy game.

The shooter is being helmed by Peter Hirshmann, who was the executive producer of the Star Wars Battlefront series. “Working with Lucasfilm Games on a new FPS in the Star Wars galaxy is a dream come true for me, as this is a story I have always wanted to tell,” said Hirschmann.

The strategy game is being developed through a collaboration with developer Bit Reactor. Respawn will serve as the producers, and Bit Reactor as the lead developers, led by Greg Foertsch.

“We are huge fans of Star Wars and we are thrilled to work with Lucasfilm Games on new titles that we have wanted to make for years,” said Vince Zampella, found and general manager, Respawn Entertainment. “If you want to make great Star Wars games, you should come join us on our journey.”

No dates were given, but it’s lovely to see more Star Wars games in multiple genres.
