If you’re gifting (or getting) a Switch this holiday season, or already have one, the Nintendo eShop has a few sales you’ll want to check out. Capcom and Ubisoft are featuring digital sales with games up to 75% off.

Very Merry Ubisoft Holiday Sale (ends January 4, 2022)

  • Just Dance 2022 ($29.99)
  • Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle ($11.99)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World ($7.49)
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising ($19.79)
  • Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered ($14.79)
  • Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection ($14.79)
  • Family Feud ($9.89)
  • Monopoly ($9.89)

Immortals Fenyx Rising was one of our favorite games of last year, an excellent Zelda-clone with a Greek mythology theme. For strategy and tactics fans, Mario + Rabbids is an excellent blend of XCOM tactics in the Mushroom Kingdom, and a sequel is releasing next year.

Sadly the Capcom Holiday Sale doesn’t include the most recent Monster Hunter games, but you can pick up the slightly older but still great Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate ($15.99), as well as Mega Man, Resident Evil, and Ace Attorney games. The Capcom Holiday Sale ends January 3, 2022.

Through January 5, the eShop is offering double the My Nintendo Gold Points when purchasing select digital games. Normally you earn 5% on digital purchases, and can redeem them with future purchases (at a rate of one point to one cent, so 100 points is $1). Right now you can earn 10% on digital purchases with Animal Crossing New Horizons, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D, Miitopia, and Luigi’s Mansion 3. All great family games, though none are on sale.

Gold Points expire after 12 months.
