The zany Overcooked! franchise turns five years old this month. To celebrate, Team17 and Ghost Town Games have added a free Birthday Party update for Overcooked! All You Can Eat, including new levels, chefs, and recipes.

The Birthday Party update adds five new birthday-themed levels, a new Tabby Cat chef, a recipe for tea, and a new Switcheroo challenge. With Switcheroo, living playing cards chase players and transport them across the kitchen, adding to the multiplayer chaos of each level.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat released last year and includes the original game, the sequel, and all previously released DLC, for a total of over 200 levels. The game includes assist and accessibility options so everyone can join in the fun, as well as supporting cross-platform multiplayer.

“Five years on, still the most rewarding aspect of working on Overcooked! is getting to see and hear the reaction from players around the world,” said Phil Duncan, co-founder, Ghost Town Games. “Seeing the fan art, the music covers, the cosplay and even the occasional tattoo is something I’ll never get used to. Hearing stories about players bonding with friends and loved-ones over their time spent playing the game together is something we’re humbled to have played a part in.”

Overcooked! All You Can Eat is available on Steam PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s rated E for Everyone.
